The Hydraulics and Maritime Research Centre of University College Cork will host an ENCORA supported seminar entitled Flood Defences and Coastal Structures. The event will address the challenges facing engineers/managers in the design and management of flood defence systems and coastal structures, and comprises nine presentations covering aspects of environmental loadings, catchment/river flooding events and coastal structures.
